This page explains how FamilyPicksWeekly handles personal information when you visit our website, subscribe to our weekly newsletter, or use related unsubscribe flows.
Who operates this site
FamilyPicksWeekly operates this website and the FamilyPicksWeekly weekly email newsletter. We publish practical parenting guidance and related product recommendations for families.
What personal data we collect
When you subscribe or unsubscribe, we collect the email address you provide through our subscribe and unsubscribe flows. We may also process standard technical information that web hosting and email delivery systems generate while serving pages or sending messages (for example delivery status).
How we use email data
We use your email address to send the FamilyPicksWeekly weekly newsletter and to handle transactional unsubscribe requests. We do not sell your email address. Newsletter content may include product recommendations, including affiliate links where disclosed on the site.
Third-party processors we use
To run the site and newsletter today, we use:
- Firebase / Google for website hosting and our Realtime Database (RTDB) used to store subscriber records and related application data.
- SendGrid (via our site’s Cloud Functions) for email delivery of newsletter and related transactional messages.
Those providers process data only as needed to host the site, store subscription state, and deliver email on our behalf.
Affiliate links disclosure
Some links on this site are affiliate links. We may receive a commission if you make a purchase through these links, at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products and services we genuinely believe in. This disclosure matches the affiliate language used in the FamilyPicksWeekly site footer.
